Jackyl - Southern Boogie Chainsaw Tears Up Rockford
Lots of bands have things that have become their trademark - Judas Priest has the Harley Davidson, Ted Nugent has his loincloth and Jackyl has their chainsaw. They got associated with that implement of deconstruction with the song "The Lumberjack" on their self-titled debut that includes what is probably the only chainsaw solo in rock history. They will be hitting Rockford, chainsaw and all, on April 6th at Elixur.

Chainsaw Guitar JACKYL UNVEIL FIRST EVER CHAINSAW GUITAR!: Southern rock band JACKYL will perform at CLUB VODKA at THE KEY CLUB on Wednesday, March 19 where they will launch the first ever chainsaw guitar during the group's live performance at 11:00 p.m. JACKYL recently released RELENTLESS featuring first single "Kill The Sunshine," - a collaboration with AC/DC's BRIAN JOHNSON that went Top 20 on R&R's Rock Chart. The group will next release "Vegas Smile" with a national strip off promotion. The song pays homage to the profession of stripping. JACKYL will do a live photo shoot on Friday, March 14 for a billboard to be placed above the Guitar Center on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood where the chainsaw guitars will be sold.
